Visit Achterveld in the Netherlands and stay the night!

Het Ruiterspoor offers a comfortable place to stay to 1 to 3 persons. A cot for a child can be set up. It is situated in a garden in the village of Achterveld (in between Amersfoort and Barneveld, which is right in the middle of the Netherlands.) The double bed is on the ground floor, the second bed is up a ladder. We have plenty of books, TV and free wifi. Also a cooker, fridge and modern bathroom (shower, loo and washstand). If the weather permits you can have breakfast in the garden, occasionally our chickens oblige with fresh eggs!

Achterveld has footpaths called “klompenpaden” to enjoy the countryside. We are connected to the “Fietsknooppunten” network – cycling is easy and signposted. Amersfoort has a historical centre that is good to see, for shoppers, city walks and canalboat tourers alike. There is a fine zoo and Flehite is a gem of a museum. Kamp Amersfoort is a chilling reminder of WW II.
